Ok. So I was very skeptical at first. We accidentally entered through the bar section instead of the street side door, and was like, what the heck kind of Korean restaurant is this?!? Don't expect anything as far as decor.
But the food, the service, and the FOOD. What the mama, did I say the Food? In the lil town of wherever this place is... Where the heck am I right now? One of the best Korean meals I've ever had and I've been to hundreds of Korean restaurants over the decades.
The flavor of the jjigaes... one sip of the semi-spicy, boiling broth.... like the time you were a poor college student and it's been months, years since you've been home, and your mom, your aunts, and grandma... waiting all year, prepping for that one meal for their child who's finally coming home. And you take that sip of that broth, and the tears of joy just start mingling with the sweat from your brow, Wow!
The banchan was on point as well. Things that I normally don't see at other places. Salted to perfection.
Maybe I was tired and hungry, but I will definitely remember this place forever. Currently trying to convince the chef and owner to move to my town. As I'm furiously typing away..... -

The area isn't great, the building looks a little run down. The restrooms....a little scary. This isn't your new age contemporary Korean restaurant.
Northwest Florida isn't a hotbed of Korean food, but it looks like all of the Korean restaurants in the region are located in Fort Walton. Osan is a hole in the wall restaurant that feeds a certain niche of clientele including: Korean American military personnel stationed nearby, retired military who served in Korea, and tourists who are craving Korean food.
The server has a Korean-waitress sassiness to her, but in the end, she was very friendly and welcoming. She has a great rapport with returning customers and treated us like we were family. The food is of above average quality. My wife had the stone pot rice bowl (dol sot bibimbap) that actually came on a stone pan (dol pan), I had the squid stir fry (o jing ah bokeum) and my kids had the rice cake soup (dduk guk), which she split into two for my two young boys to share. Good homemade flavors with a good number of sides.
It's not the best Korean food, but it's very good considering the circumstances. We'll be back again next time we're in NWF. -

The food was so delicious! Definitely ask for dukbokki ahead of time so they have it in stock for you! It is not on the menu but it is worth trying and ordering.
I had the jap che which is a sweet potato noodle dish with beef and vegetables. I got HUGE portions. Plenty for leftovers! Yum! Their sushi is also delicious!

Best korean restaurant in the area. Typical original and delicious korean food with excellent flavors and great customer service. After visiting all the korean restaurants in the area this place by far, beats the rest of the korean restaurants. It also has a sushi bar and a karokee room for night events etc. After spending a year in Korea, this place is the bomb in comparison to the rest of the restaurants I visited around here which was, all of them. I highly recommend this place. See it for yourself. R
